Common repair types
Most of what we do falls into these three areas.
Water damage repairs
Brown stains, flaking paint and soft ceiling board all point to water damage. Once the leak source is fixed, we cut out the affected section, put in new board, tape and set the joins, and sand it ready for paint. Perth water damage ceiling repairs are a large part of what we do.
Hole coverups and prep
Old light fittings, aircon cutouts, exhaust fans, smoke alarms. When a fitting is removed or relocated we plaster the hole flush so there is no trace it was ever there. We also cut and prep new holes cleanly before your electrician arrives.
Patch repairs and section replacement
Damaged ceiling board gets cut back to the nearest joist, new board goes in, joins are taped and set, and the surface is sanded to match the rest of the ceiling. Cracks at wall and ceiling joins and patching after trades are also covered.
